I left my home in California as a very young military wife in 1973. After living in Mississippi and Oklahoma we arrived in San Antonio, Texas in 1978. By then I had 4 young children and found myself a single mother. With no possibility of returning to California I set my roots down in this small city/town.
Single mother of 4 that I was, I discovered I was great at working with people. I worked at Lackland AFB for many years serving active duty and civilians. As my children grew I needed a job that would allow me to be home when my children were not in school so I began working for Northside ISD. Middle school was where I found my place and worked 11 years for the school district.
My life had been in survival mode for so many years and now the kids were leaving home, starting their own lives. What to do? I was ready to do something new. Sales!! For many years I worked with women through Mary Kay. Great company and I discovered I liked helping people. See, selling make-up is so much more than just make-up. Then I discovered I could do something that involved my love of cars…I could sell them.
Again, I found a way to help folks. See, selling cars is so much more than just a car. I was then at a point I could afford my dream home. Great adventure and I realized selling houses is so much more than just a house. It’s a home, a safe haven. It’s family, friends, love and happiness. I finally found the “job” I call home,
